Of course we do! Tatari Construction will visit your job site and provide a free estimate and consultation. What’s more – we will provide you with a free 3D rendering of your final project as well as go over your options in a follow-up meeting, either at our showroom or the job site.

We understand that our customers have busy work schedules and we try to accommodate your needs. Tatari schedules appointments Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am – 7:30 pm and Sundays and after-hours by request.

Each consultation will be based on the scope of work and need. However, typical consultations last from 1-2 hours, in order to provide enough time to discuss your project and answer any questions you may have.

Tatari construction specialized in kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Our scope of work also includes basements to large remodeling projects.

Our price includes all of the demolition of your existing bathroom/kitchen, hauling the trash away, rough-in framing of your new bathroom/kitchen, plumbing and electric work and finish carpentry, installing new fixtures, tile work, plaster and painting, as well as the construction materials required for these.

Rates for our jobs vary due to the type of work being performed and the number of hours and materials needed.

Since the prices of your tile, cabinets, appliances, plumbing fixtures and countertops will vary dramatically based on the materials you choose, we provide you with a full list of the items you will need to supply. This allows you flexibility to choose within your budget range. Tatari Construction will provide you with a full consultation to go over these items and go over the options you have available, as well as several ideas. As a KOHLER dealer and distributor of natural stone tile products, you can purchase all the materials you will need from us, or from the supplier of your choice. No matter what you choose, we will do all the installation!

Tatari Construction will provide you with preliminary design ideas and recommend products that will best suit your needs and budget, as well as work to integrate your ideas. In addition, books, newspapers, magazines, web-sites and an array of home improvement shows provide homeowners with a steady stream of options. From surfaces and flooring ideas to appliances, plumbing fixtures, cabinet styles, paint colors and lighting choices, the number of choices a you will make during a renovation can be daunting. Clip photos of projects, materials and appliances that you like and show them for us. You can also gather ideas at builder and kitchen-and-bath shows and, best of all, in our local showroom at 8241 E Backlick Road, Lorton, VA 22079.

Our free consultation includes a detailed estimate with timelines, deliverables and a complimentary 3D design service to provide you with preliminary design options and help you visualize the end-product.

We provide a one-stop shop for all your remodeling needs, with all in-house employees and supply of a wide variety of materials options, including KOHLER and natural stone products.

We are faithful to timelines. Each contract includes an estimated start date and project duration. We guarantee finish within the estimated timeline, or you will receive $100 rebate for each business day past due.

Most projects start with the tearing out of existing appliances or fixtures, cabinets and floors. At that stage, any new structural changes will be made, along with the necessary plumbing and electrical modifications. Once the new structure is in place, drywall will be installed, followed by plaster and paint. Finally, flooring, cabinet and countertop installation will be followed by plumbing fixtures and appliances. Near the end of your project, we will schedule a walk-through to go over the minor items that remain and your “touch-up list.”

Throughout the remodeling process, a lot of things ‘pop up’. You will likely encounter unforeseen problems. The best thing that you can do is always ask questions and keep us informed. We want to know immediately if something is not right so that we can troubleshoot and keep your project moving forward smoothly! With Tatari Construction, you can expect to be in constant communication with your project manager, who will deal with things in a timely manner.

We will specify the start and finish date in your remodeling contract. However, the largest bottleneck in the renovation is the delivery of your materials, for example, kitchen cabinets or custom plumbing fixtures. We will work together to make sure that you promptly place your order and we receive everything on time.

We cover floors with either rosin paper or Masonite, depending on the circumstances, and we block off the areas surrounding the construction area with heavy gauge plastic sheets. We also cover furniture in the surrounding area to protect it as much as possible. At the completion of each day, we will clean up and remove the trash so that we can start again fresh the following day.

Once we have everything in our warehouse, your project can begin. The estimated timeline for a standard 10’ x 15’ kitchen project is 20-25 business days while your bathroom project can be finished as soon as 9 business days. A 500 sq. ft. basement can be completed within 15 business days. These timelines will vary, based on the size of your room and extent of the remodel, including, for example, structural changes and custom tile work.

The two main reasons that jobs take too long are that time is wasted on waiting for materials and waiting for tradesman to show up. We eliminate this first reason by starting the job only after all the materials are delivered to the job site and by using top-quality, brand-name materials like Kohler. Even if an item was shipped wrong or is defective, we can replace it immediately. We eliminate the second by assigning the workmen to a tight, well-coordinated schedule and by having substitutes available in case of sickness or emergencies. Our experience in knowing how long each stage will take lends itself to being able to effectively coordinate your project schedule.

We will deduct $100.00 from the price for every business day the job exceeds your timeline. (This guarantee is not applicable for any alteration or deviation from the specified work plan in the contract, which may impose extra costs and timeline. We will execute a signed change order, in writing, for these cases)

Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard. In addition, Tatari accepts cash and checks.

Yes, we will reinstall your existing plumbing fixtures or other materials, as per your request.

Tatari Construction is Tri-State licensed licensed, insured, bonded and a member of the National Association of The Remodeling Industry, the National Kitchen & Bath Association and the U.S. Green Building Council and is accredited by Better Business Bureau.

All craftsmanship is warranted for one year. In addition, all project materials installed in your new bath carry the manufacturer's warranty.
